Ken Trott | Flying Officer Ken Trott He joined 197 Sqn in February 1944 flying Typhoons on operations leading up to the Allied Invasion, including 2 combat missions on D-Day itself, but in July 1944 baled out after a mid-air collision with an Me109. He spent the rest of the war as a PoW in Stalag Luft and during a move to Mooseburg the train was attacked by Mustangs. |
